Acrylic & glitter on canvas
30"x 40"
I’d love the opportunity to do more work that is stylistically similar to the painting rs4307059CT. (Featured on the page with two okapi with intertwining tongues.) That painting, and the others highlighted on this page specifically, were created more intuitively than much of the other artwork shown on my website.
In particular I allow instinct to guide where the paintings go. The method I use to achieve the dripping paint is nearly impossible to actually control, so the course of the painting manifests itself.
I am including additional images that are aesthetically similar below.
If selected, and with sufficient notice, I can make a few paintings specifically for the Big Fam gallery. ( I also perform semi-professionally with a belly dance troupe so I’d have to intentionally set aside some time to do so.) If there are particular themes, imagery or symbols that are important to the festival, I’d be happy to incorporate them into the works.
*Note* I know that glitter can be a controversial issue. I do like to use glitter in my paintings, however whenever it is used it is combined with a mixing medium so that I can keep it contained and it doesn’t explode and infect everything within a 3 mile radius.
